Before you start
You need an active Fix8 AI Chat account and your account's public embed key.
Custom code requires a Team plan or higher.
Install the floating chat
- Open your site editor and look for Settings > Header HTML.
- Paste your floating snippet in Body End HTML.
- Republish the site, then check the published domain.
Add the inline chat to one page
- Open the contact page. Choose Add > Elements and search for HTML.
- Drag the HTML widget to the desired spot and paste the complete inline snippet.
- Republish your site.
Copy your code
Your working snippet comes from your dashboard: Settings > Embed. Some console views show Embed on the dashboard overview. Choose Floating button or Inline on a page and copy the complete code.
These are placeholder examples. Replace YOUR_PUBLIC_KEY with your account's public key, or copy your actual snippet from the dashboard. Keep the existing container id and data-target together.

Saving in the editor does not publish changes. Republish before testing.
